Approach to Therapy

Whether you want to explore your behaviours and patterns to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, or looking for strategies to help regulate your emotions. Paula uses a combination of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) alongside Counselling and Psychotherapy to support you to improve your mental health and wellbeing. 

Paula describes herself as warm, empathic, authentic, and enjoys a good laugh and genuinely loves listening to and supporting people who are going through difficult times. She hopes that through the counselling experience you are able to feel a sense of regeneration, whether that is because you are open to learning new ways of coping and learning things about yourself or that you are starting to heal and move in a new and positive direction.
